In my prayer time the other day I saw ice breaking. I was reminded of that game where we had to knock out the ice cubes one by one til we hit that one that had held all the rest in place. That one last hit and then it was game over for the one who hit that last block. 

Well, it’s not game over for God’s people. I also saw something like that icy waterfall in the Narnia movie.  I saw the ice breaking up and I saw fresh clean pure water begin to rush forth. I am not a prophet but I know this means something to somebody besides me. A LOT of somebodies!

This morning I got a word from one of God’s internet messengers that said to get ready for an important breakthrough. Now that’s not a new message for me.  I have been hearing it for quite some time, but today, I GOT IT! I mean it was as if it hit me and almost knocked the wind out of me!

This morning I went back to revisit and, in a few cases, re-read some of the other messages that I have received over the past few weeks that blessed me SO MUCH that I couldn’t stay where I was.

This morning I had to go back and revisit the verses I posted yesterday to all who receive. I knew that there was something that I left undone. There’s a lot more that goes with those verses. But one thing that keeps coming back to me is man’s position in the church.  Not in the Body of Christ, but in the building where they go to attend services.

I read about Balaam and I took it personally. I don’t mean I got offended but it clarified for me the position I am in with others who have sought to curse me but were forced to bless me instead. It’s not a new thing, but it’s more clear to ME this morning. It’s like when the fog has been wiped from the bathroom mirror.  I can see a much better image of my circumstances. I can see the image of Christ better, too.

This morning, I read about looking deeper into the source of my problems and taking responsibility for MY part in what I am going through! OUCH! That hurt, but it is not new to me. I have been encouraged by many not to “be so hard” on myself. But today, I receive that word of correction and I am swallowing it. Know what? It tastes good! Only when I confess that I have not been a good steward can I allow God to fix the source of my issues with money, or parenting or the yard work or even housework!

This morning, I read about positions being replaced. Lord knows as I was reading, I heard the bitter hatred of my landlady as she told me I had to find some place else to live! The seat she is in is one that has been built on the blood of what she has stolen from the poor and downtrodden, but I know that God has placed me in heavenly places. Our savior built a way for us to get there and covered it with all He had to offer as He stood in our place on Calvary.

Yes, there are seats being knocked over and replaced. That’s because it is the positions that are being fought over rather than fighting in the Spirit for protection of the hearts and minds of the saints. Rebellion is pouring out from deep within the hearts of those who call others rebellious.

When I looked deeper into that verse from James 2:2 it was impressed on me that congregations are not only gathered in buildings. You can “congregate” or gather ANY where! Jesus said “…where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” From wherever you read this message, at least two of us have gathered together! You and me!

It was also impressed upon me that favor is not only given to those “whose hands are adorned with gold rings and who is wearing splendid apparel”. In our churches or other gatherings, those who are honored are not only those whose position is represented by beautiful or costly outer garments. Those who wear the marks of anointing are also being given honor over those who do not have an obvious anointing or gift of the Spirit. This happens not only in a church meeting that takes place in a building, but also in places like this one all over the internet where believers are gathering together for WHATEVER reason they are gathering!

Prayers for the Body are being choked out by prayers for the pray-ers. I personally have been under such an assault from the enemy that sometimes, I could not even THINK past what is going on here. As soon as I tread on one serpent, the ugly head of another is rising up to capture my attention!

Look at this world we live in! Who can see what goes on today and still deny the fact that a greater level of evil has been let loose? Balaam’s seed is being cultivated rather than the seeds of the righteous. Yes, the prayers of the wicked are more in number but we need to remember this: The prayer of the righteous availeth much! We need to post on our refrigerators that 1 can put one thousand to flight, 2 ten thousand!

This morning I read about getting to the heart of the matter. Let me say this, if your heart is into battling for position, is your position one that will be honored by God? God’s order is NOT in man made titles or seats of honor. And it certainly is not in the building of more church-related buildings or monuments. The honor of God will not be accomplished by flattery or gained by the greedy.

I heard someone take it to the place where she confronted me about paying the rent! Bless God for such a confrontation! I’m glad that I already did! Even though I don’t have any idea how I am going to pay anything else. Obedience, I have learned is BETTER than sacrifice!

Now it’s as if I can hear as God says to His people “Pay the rent”! The rent on your place in the kingdom is paid in obedience. Start the fire of God in your heart to burn the chaff. It doesn’t matter what represents the chaff in your life: Is it the title given you by men? Is it your self induced desires to produce works rather than those works that are produced out of the commandments that God has written on your heart?

We need to pay homage in humility and with a contrite heart. A heart that jostles for position is NOT a humble heart. Humility will not fight for its own place at the front of the line, at the top of the heap, in a position of leadership in the Body of Christ.

I repent! Lord forgive me for laying here silent, licking my own wounds while your precious Israel is under one of the greatest attacks of her life! While Your Body has once again been bloodied by the hand of the guards who have been ordered to carry out your will.  While this precious nation is being overtaken by the greatest evils that can be conjured up in the hearts of mortal men. While children are dying at the hands of their mothers. While daughters are being abandoned by their fathers, left to have their bodies picked over and leered at by the buzzards of the world who await their untimely emotional and spiritual deaths.

Lord I ask that you would heal your Bride, wash her garments white and pure again, make her heart holy and make it to seek after YOU BEFORE she seeks after her own needs. Then knock down the blocks. Break the ice that has frozen your people in that place of ineffectiveness. Warm their cold hearts with the fire of your pure love. Thaw their joints that they might lift their hands and bend their knees and bow their backs in homage to you alone! Empower her with the knowledge of who she is IN YOU!

Call your warriors to battle! Let them hear as I have heard this day. The evil ones have prayed to their God. Let the righteous ones lift their heads from their own sorrows long enough to pray for another in need. At least one, Lord! Let those prayers spread, one for another, like wildfire through your body. Melting the hardness. Sweetening the bitter. Healing the wounded. Feeding the hungry. Giving sight to the blind. Offer them your hand Lord as you call them to take up their beds and walk! Make them to dance again to sing aloud of your goodness, your greatness your power and not their own. SETTING THE CAPTIVES FREE!

Let your wisdom come to rule in this place where it appears that all wisdom has taken a hike. Let your power be manifest in the hands of those unlikely ones. Those foolish enough to throw away everything to follow You. Those foolish ones who you have chosen to confound the wise!

Make them to first realize and then to ALWAYS remember their place in you. At your feet and not at the helm. Protect them from the sin of pride that has overtaken so many leaders today. Shield them from the flattery of the ones who have been taught that flattery is in order. Emblazon your name on their person that all may know they were not sent by man but by the ONE Living and True God. Thwart the words of the unlearned that seek to overcome them with flattery or bullying. Make the meek to speak your words and boldly. Let the heart of the Lion of Judah be within their hearts that no man should be able to stand against them.

In the name of the ONE who WAS and IS and IS TO COME! AMEN!

The Lord impressed upon me to look up the word position. I have posted those findings below. Each verse is a message unto itself, but this is already long enough for today.

Be blessed by HIS word. Spirit of offence you gotta go this morning! In Jesus Name, leave this place!

(Colossians 3:25 AMP)  For he who deals wrongfully will [reap the fruit of his folly and] be punished for his wrongdoing. And [with God] there is no partiality [no matter what a person's position may be, whether he is the slave or the master].

(1 Thessalonians 3:3 AMP)  That no one [of you] should be disturbed and beguiled and led astray by these afflictions and difficulties [to which I have referred]. For you yourselves know that this is [unavoidable in our position, and must be recognized as] our appointed lot.

(James 2:5 AMP)  Listen, my beloved brethren: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and in their position as believers and to inherit the kingdom which He has promised to those who love Him?

(1 Peter 4:12 AMP)  Beloved, do not be amazed and bewildered at the fiery ordeal which is taking place to test your quality, as though something strange (unusual and alien to you and your position) were befalling you.
